I have a huge purple blob on my knee!!?

its a birthmark.and its really ugly.i live in the tropics so whenever i wear shorts,you can see it! i guess i could try a bandage thing but then people will ask,what happened? so i need help,and makeup doesn't work either.please help.thanks:)
