What kind of girl is this?

Ok I meet her at a party and picked her up cause my friend knows her.Im 18 shes 16.She wanted to be my gf but i told her lets get to kno each other and see what happens cause I got out of serious relationship.She said ok and we planned to go see a movie and dinner one night and it was gonna happen tonight but she asked her parents and i guess said no cause my age.I thought this was one of them girls that have parents that dont care cause i met her at a party(drinkin,drugs) but turns out she has to ask her parents.So i guess she lies about what she does.Should I try to hang with her or let it go cause i asked her today if we were still goin and she would avoid the question and not answer.
