U.S. GOVERNMENT lying to us about Osama bin Laden's death? Is there something not right here?

Yes, I know, they are ALL confirming that Osama bin Laden is dead, indeed. But something does not seem right here. I have some strange feeling about all this. They confirmed he is dead, but they did not release pictures of his body immediately. They did not give us all the details about this. Dumping the body in the sea? Whats up with that? I don't get it. Some people are saying this is a PR stunt for Obama's re-election campaign (Not sure if this is true). Then there are those who are out there saying this whole thing is a hoax so Obama can get votes in 2012. The Republicans are pissed and some say they should be getting the credit. OK, enough of that, all this stuff about bin Laden seems weird. Why did they have to kill him so quickly? Couldn't they just have captured him and get him to release everything about Al Qaeda and Jihad? The fact that the Navy SEALS and the CIA carried this thing out so quietly and swiftly sounds like there is something missing. Is the government lying to us about something?
