Is the Christian world far more educated and evolved than the Muslim world?

With regards to my earlier question there have been some good answers....In response to welltraveled's answer I am not a religious person and history bears no relevance on today’s society as we are no longer uneducated sand munchers who believe every word coming out of powerful religious priests who would have you killed for insubordination. But you may have one point that Christians were murderous b@stards in the past as to be honest religion was used as a stick to keep law and order otherwise those dam locusts would come again and shag your vegetable patch up. In History people were uneducated, thick and would do atrocities to order otherwise your not getting through the pearly gates, again how thick were they. So is the next question.....Is the Christian world far more educated and evolved than the Muslim world? as we no longer believe killing innocent people is the answer
