What was the last event which made you rethink your priorities in life?

I had a bad car wreck about 4years ago,and should have died. I was a really bad alcoholic and drug user.Long story short,I had to have a total knee replacement,missed spending 2 years of time with my son,and I was just 30 years old when all this happened.
