What is your opinion on cruel verses from Koran?

Well, they prove that the Koran advocates cruelty. Verses that oppose this line of thought don't redeem the Koran, rather, they show that either it's NOT of divine origin OR that the divine origin is schizophrenic (the old meaning of schizophrenic which we'd call 'multiple personality disorder' today). Furthermore, they show that Islam itself, since Islam is based on the Koran, advocates cruelty. And that Muslims, since they support the idea of a 'perfect Koran' advacate cruelty as well. That's my opinion. Didn't USE to be my opinion. But then I went and learned about Islam and now I don't sleep so well at night.
