How can I check to see if an International Drivers License is forged or fake?

The mother of my step son, has an International Driver's License, but some of the type fonts is completely different. Such as the expiration date! The date is completely different type. Per our attorney's requirement, she did provided to us a copy of her insurance card which was "activated" the day AFTER we requested a copy of her insurance card. When I called her insurance company they would not tell me if the insurance was active or cancelled because of "privacy laws". She is also illegal and her alien resident card expired several years ago. So this is why my insurance premium is so HIGH in Colorado. Because of "uninsured motorist" and "illegal motorists". Insurance companies, such as this company, say that they CAN NOT verify if International Driver's LIcense are valid. They ume that any information that is given to them is true and correct. So again my question is...how can a person verify if an international drivers license number from the UK is real & active.
