Getting fit for the RAF regiment?

I spent twelve very happy years in the R.A.F. (as a photographer), the fitness requirements do change now and again but at the moment your nearly there, a bit more running practice ( a good idea is to carry a back pack) and start as soon as possible, that way you'll get fit in plenty of time, this will not only get you through the entry requirements but make your training that much easier.
