Can I bring a certian Item aboard the flight?

Maybe I can even get a TSA employee to answer this out there. I have a fathers day gift (Im visiting my dad and im flying there) its a picture in a frame. Im just worried Im not allowed to bring it cuz its in the gl frame. Any help would be helpful!
