Is Becky Hammon a Traitor?

Treason is defined as an “act of betraying trust”. We trusted that in gratitude for all the services and support she received growing up in the United States, educating her, developing her basketball skills, she would be obliged to represent her country in the Olympic Games. If America, did not call her to it’s service, then she would be doing the country a dis-service by going to another country and playing for them in the Olympic Games. Your Country does not always require your talent to achieve it's goal. We as citizens may feel slighted by the prospect our country does not require the use of our abilities; however, we must respect our country's decisions as a matter of national interest. The Olympics is not like other International Tournaments; these are nations competing, not private or commercial entities.
